It's The Concept

It's the concept
of the question
that scoops out your brains
and slaps them on the
snowcone of curiosity,
the mind numbing
experience when your
teeth ache but the flavor
tastes so good
and so sweet
that it's easier to hold your
breath and swallow
then watch it melt.
It's the emptiness
when you look at the
bottom of the cup
and wish for more
even though your full
because you miss
the flavor,
the tongue
massaging texture,
the mind easing delight
already
The answer isn't
always found at the end,
at the bottom of the cup,
sometimes it's in the beginning
before you had your first
taste of the possibilities
what is the meaning of life?
perhaps, one only has to question it
to really know.

Good anowology of what you see as life can be and give. I believe you have captured it in great depth. Nice writing. |
