I bless the day she came along,
And put new words to my life’s song.
They lifted me when I was down,
And replaced with smiles what had been frowns.
I bless the day I fell in love,
With the angel sent me from above.
She arrived the day all hope had gone,
And became my reason to continue on.
I bless the day when her brown eyes shone,
As reflective pools leading my heart home.
I’m just as thankful with each day new,
As that blessed day, she said she loved me too!
