Grandmother, what is going to happen to us?
Will the evil flames consume us too?
I cannot understand how they can be so callous.
Is there not something you can do?
Fear is all around.
In every eye, tongue, and face.
Man, woman, old, and child are crematorium bound.
There seems no way to escape this place;
This place of horror and death of all.
Fire shows just how far angels can fall.

I loved that book (read it in the 11th grade for school) but yeah, it IS really disturbing

It is so hard to understand how any human could commit such crimes against other humans and remain sane. That book was so well written but so graphically horrifying to me. I had nightmares from it.
