Die For You

Contributed by xemptydecemberx on Wednesday, 21st July 2004 @ 12:28:25 PM in AEST
Topic: oops

Set me on glass, tear me apart
Expose my flaws, * with my heart
Make promises you never keep
Bring me inside but not to deep
I play your games but never win
Like every move I make is a sin
All this I feel you make me do
Still in an minute I'd die for you.
How bogus is that? this * I feel
When all along I thought it was real
I put you aside but still your here
Nothing I do can keep you near
Everything we planned is all shot
In this * up world we've been caught
Set me up for another fall
Is it pleasure you recieve from this pain
Screwing with my mind, but im to blame
I put up with your * for far to long
You managed to pin that i was wrong
But your the liar, your the fake
From this nightmare ill awake
Stronger than you'll ever be
It'll take you some time, but you'll see
That when i was placed on that glass and tore apart
It wasnt the end, but a brand new start
A place without your presence starts today
Maybe even a world where I wish to stay

No one should ever allow another person to wrack their life like that. I hope you will take charge and never allow anyone to do that again. Life is too beautiful to knowingly allow pain in.

Rita

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
