AS I APPROACH THE STAGE A HUSH FALLS OVER THE CROWD,
BY THE TIME I OCCUPY CENTER STAGE IT HAS BECOME EXCEEDINGLY LOUD, ROCK US, ROCK US, THEY CHANT ECSTATICALLY TO NIGHT MY MUSIC WILL SET THEM FREE.
RIGHT ON CUE THE BAND STARTS TO PLAY, AND MID WAY THROUGH THE SET EVERY ONE HAS BEEN SWEPT AWAY, ORGANIZED CHAOS WOULD BEST DESCRIBE THE SCENES THAT ARE BEEN PLAYED OUT INSIDE.
THE SEA OF BODIES IN FRONT OF ME HAVE WORKED THEMSELVES INTO A MAD FRENZY, BUT THAT’S THE POINT,
CERTAINLY MY AIM NONCONFORMITY IN PLEASURES DOMAIN.
A HUNDRED THOUSAND PEOPLE SWAY TO AND FRO, THE STAGE MANAGER SIGNALS WRAP IT WE HAVE TO GO, SECURITY RUSHES ME TO A WAITING VAN AS I LEAVE THE BUILDING THE BAND PLAYS ON.
