As a tear falls
a love dies
Forgotten and lost
filled with lies
Slowly descending
down a broken heart
Falls another drop
a love torn apart!
As a heart breaks
a life slowly fades
Growing duller
by hates blade
Bleeding for a time
now a failed romance
Slowly crumbling
without a chance!
As a soul mourns
a dream’s shattered
Lost forever
nothing else mattered
Slipping farther away
love is lost
Forever paying the penalty
of love’s cost!
