Parts of me,
scattered everywhere,
but not all parts.
There's more in
the dark,
the deep,
the dead,
parts of me.
The parts no one knows about, and no one wants to know about.
I keep them there so I can forget,
try to move on.
It doesn't work,
they always come back,
clothed by a disguise unrecognizable to me.
So I bury the new ones too,
now their hiding in the darkness.
More and more,
the build up,
until one day,
it's too much.
My insides hurt
and my mind hurts from thinking.
I break,
into shattered parts,
scattered everywhere,
but not all parts.
Some still hide in the darkness.
