So many crimson tears I’ve lost
But I guess that is just the cost
It’s the only way I lose the pain
And stop myself from going insane
I don’t care what people say
Let them be me for just one day
Self-mutilation, who would have thought
Of the relief that it has brought
When I cut I drift away
To a place I would love to stay
But it can only last so long
I don’t care if you think it’s wrong
I didn’t ask to think this way
But there’s really nothing I can say
This is my horrible curse
I guess it could be a lot worse
So just please leave me alone
I’m sure you have imperfections of your own
So don’t just judge me for what I do
First feel the pain that I go through
