That night I saw you

Contributed by Tigerpaws on Monday, 19th July 2004 @ 07:49:20 PM in AEST
Topic: SadPoetry

I saw you that night
And it made me see a new light
Seeing you with her makes me bare
And I couldn't do anything but just stare
So I decided to drink
To catch a new link
After I was done drinking
I started thinking
Oh Lord why me
Did this really have to be
I was always there for you
You seemed you were there for me too
When I finally saw the light
That was it, I could not fight
I thought I was strong
But I guess I was wrong
I tried to put this to rest
Really I don't wish you the best
You will hurt her like you hurt me
I know I will always be strong
Even though it may be wrong
It may take time to heal
This is the way I really feel
