Seal the memories that open your heart of oblivion
Erase the dreams that draw the pictures of regret
Take away the pain which was given
Return it to where it came from and undo the past
Make a new future on something you can bet
One shot after the other and do it fast
Because sometimes its as good it as gets
Wake up the next day still halfway gone
Wish that you never had that extra drink
Today you have to mow the lawn
With that thought you throw up in the sink
Drop all your responsibilities that you've drawn
Make excuses to your loved ones why
Your family does not know you anymore
Dissapointment fills the air and trust has gone awry
Remember waves of drink will wash this away from the shore
Back at the bar and you ask for one more
Times are good again and you dont care
Finishing your last you hit the floor
Being common no one bothers to stare
Say goodbye to the people who share your mind
come back home if you can still find the way
once there lay motionless and blind
from everything of your past that tries to stay
Wish this moment lasts forever and hold on
One day maybe it will never go away
And know this is your best for now on
And forever in your bed lay.
