The world's an unfriendly place
When it doesn't know or see your face
But don't ever lose your faith
It won't be long
A heart that's as strong as yours
Beats for all who walk through your door
You never put your life before
A friend in need
The night is dark and lonely
When you think there's no one there
But try to see you're not alone
And there's people here who care
When you feel like you just can't go on
And your heart will soon give out
I'll carry your beats as long as you need
To strengthen your soul through out
I can't say when dreams come true
Most seem farther than near
But you never have to wait alone
Just say the word and I'll be right here
