Learning To Live
As the world turns,
I stand here today.
Praying to God,
Help me live a new way.
Ten years of my life,
Had never changed.
God has given me a chance,
To get out of this shame.
I know I lost years,
But I’m thankful I’m still alive.
Because my higher power,
Has showed me a new way to survive.
A new life has been born,
In this very room that I stand.
I will no longer live life,
A drunken lonely man.

| great write im glad you were able to overcome something like that i wish my dad would have gotten help instead of going through what i had to a few years back |
