Inside my Head

Contributed by brokensoul on Monday, 19th July 2004 @ 12:50:17 PM in AEST
Topic: EmotionalPoetry

i have never had such unfamiliar feelings before
unusual
what would they say?
they would fear i was sliping away
they would hold on tighter
i am slipping through their grip like sand
but i am so confused
i find myself writing this word in poem after poem, song after song
confused
these newly identified emotions
float around in my mind
crazy
i know
what is happening to me
i am losing sight of myself
falling into a great abyss
i look upon my past
and wonder how could that be me?
it cant be me
it isnt me
i dont even know who i am
to much time
to much to think about
i am screaming
i take a deep breath
i am insane
someone please
please save me

To thine own self be true

Don't know who said it, but it's certainly true here.
Don't rack yourself with guilt about how you feel.
Accept yourself and good, fair-minded people will,
accept you.

To Hell with the rest.

Stoney
