I tired

Contributed by clowns_can_burn on Monday, 19th July 2004 @ 03:10:29 AM in AEST
Topic: selfstruggles

I tired
to be the best
to excell in everything i did
how is that everything became a mess?

I tired
why wasn't that good enough?
why is it that you think that all i do is lie?

I tired
to be me
and i failed
maybe now you and everyone else can see

I tired
I failed because you wouldn't except me either way
no matter how great i was or became
And now i finally have somthing to say

I tired
Only to please you
But no matter what i do
i will never be good enough

I tired
and thats all that should matter to you
