life isent so bad

Contributed by socialmisfit on Monday, 19th July 2004 @ 01:41:27 AM in AEST
Topic: ambiguous

the days are short and life seems to long.
the hours go down and all hope for love is gone.
you leave the ones who care the most,
and stay with the ones you have nothing to give.
why live this way from day to day.
we laugh when things are funny and
cry when things go bad.
we get angery at God when things mess up
and blam it on him when things went bad
but in reality its our fault
get over there's nothing you can do.
just pick up where you left off and move on.
don't be like a record playin the same sad song.
brighten things up put a smile on your face
and this world won't seem like a really bad place.

Often the reason people are stuck in unhappiness is because they are so caught up in trying to assure their comfort. Alas, if people would see that leaving comfort behind can often be so much more fulfilling and exciting.
Nice work. You got me thinking.
