Don't Worry

You search my words for clues,
That I'm sure you'll never find,
Wondering why I write to you,
And why I act so kind,
I'm telling you there are none there,
No reason at all that I should care,
But something in you struck my core,
And inspired me to write once more,
So don't expect me to back out,
That's not what my writing is all about,
Don't look for the tarnish on a shining silver dime,
Don't look for maliciousness hidden in my rhymes,
Don't you think it's just a joke,
Just sit back and light a smoke,
Take some time and read these lines,
And everything will turn out fine.

I TOTALLY feel that! one of my best friends, wow, he doubted me so much, and for so long, and I just never knew how to handle it, so, I would just keep expressing my love and dedication until he finally got it. I definitely want to share this poem with him. :-P At least I'm not the only one who's gone through it! great poem! |
