Losing to Life

Losing to Life

I'm telling you what I want
I'm telling you what I need
I'm telling you
What I want to see
What I want to be
Everything

I want to be compared
With what's thrown at me
I'm telling you
I'm going to succeed
Nothing can stop me
I'm everything I want to be

Whatever life throws at me
Will be obliterated
As I stand up to what I fear
Nothing will stop me
From succeeding again

I'm telling you
I cannot lose
Success is in my view
This pointless life
Is ending soon
As I reach for the life
I was denied before
The life I wanted
For so long

I'm no longer
Losing to life
I'm not losing
To what's inside
I fought to win
A better life
