Our hearts pounded as our eyes caught
We leaned in after a night of Tension and jitters
Our lips connected and a volt went through us
We each had butterflies, it was our first kiss as a couple
The experience was over whelming
The kiss we shared was so tenderly caressing, yet so sweetly loveable
We didn't know what hit us
Our hearts said one thing, our minds another
So we decided to ignore what we knew
Our bodies followed the beat, moved to the rhythm
Our lips parted and our eyes opened again
We smiled at each other, but without a word, kissed again
The pressure was gone, our feelings were true
We knew as we clung to one another, we were in love
