If only blues would
fade to gray.
If only my memories
would go away.
If only the world would
disappear.
If only hope was
something near.
If only love
didn't hurt.
If only I learned
with death not to flirt.
If only the scars
on my arms would fade.
If only life were as fun
as the games that I played.

I really like how you set up this poem! and, the simple, playful nature of the setup let's the sincerity and simplicity of such difficult aspects of all of our lives just come through so honestly.
