You enter with a few coins and exit with instructions on how to 'be'.
Those glossed leaves pressure you to be how they want you to be,
how you're supposed to be.
Your veins ought to be wire and the orange paste metal,
teenage society and 'icons' holding the remote control, and the moment you gain a fault or imperfection,
become socially unaccepted
If you build you by yourself you'll forget to add a remote,
you'll forget to read the manual,
you'll forget to add the pressure
You'll be free to be

That's a beautiful poem to post. I'm sure alot of teenagers can relate to the idea that society may find imperfection socially unacceptable. It's a good poem :) |
