sitting on the edge
of reason
of time
i've loved you too long i know
held on to memories
that have been my friends all along
that even we can't say goodbye
what is it that always, always
leads me back to you
and everything i knew
in a place that was so perfect
or seemingly so.
lord knows
not you
not i
can decide what happens next
or travel back to
it's out of our hands
so i'm just sitting on the edge
of reason
of time
of love
waiting
