We blind mice
See how we run
See the frantic trials
Of our journey to the sun
But what they think is the sun
Is really the barrel of a gun
With the shade of darkness
We don't know where we begun
It's such a sight for sore eyes
Though everywhere it hides
Where it cries
Where it abides
On the great tides of time
Though some claim to believe
It's the back of mind they see
The sight of hope
From keeping you not alone
But for me I often wander
The nameless strreets I know
As I feel my way through
This solemn existance I guess I knew
Just what I was getting in to
Just like mice we'll blindly wander
Until our souls see what to do
