whispers

Contributed by darkeyedman on Saturday, 26th October 2002 @ 01:45:00 PM in AEST
Topic: InternetLove

Your eyes are the darkness,
Visage imagined,
Voice the song of the night.
I long to stand with you,
Holding your hands,
Feeling the passion ignite.
Eyes lost in each other,
Lips inches apart,
Anticipating embrace.
My heart feels your love,
My soul holds you tight,
My mind can see your face.
But my fingers are numb,
All sounds are hushed,
Colors have all gone gray.
What use are hands
And ears and eyes
When you are far away.
I cry out your name,
Call out in the dark,
Pray to the Gods above.
Beg for that moment
When we can know more
Than silent whispers of love.

These beautiful words spoke to me, enchanted and captivated me till the very end... I cried out, because to end a perfect write such as this, is an end to all things... Absolutely gorgeous! I loved this! I can totally relate. It's incredible how you described my feelings so flawlessly. You have a lot of talent, my friend. It will take you to many places. Such a wonderful love, yet, you wish more than just words... You wish to see the face, to caress the cheek, to kiss those lips... I know; I feel this also. Awesome write, darkeyedman! BRAVO! Much love and respect! Pen on.
