Look and Wonder ( To Live Again Once More)

Look at the cute little birds in the sky,
Soaring above the clouds so freely,
With high spirits that will never die,
Living a life with nothing to worry.
Look at the horses on the green pasture,
Running ahead without looking behind,
Moving on, not worrying about the future,
Nothing to hold them back in their every mind.
Look at the fishes swimming in the pond,
Swimming swiftly in the clear waters,
Not looking at this day's beyond,
Within their spirit, not a concern lingers.
Look at the dragonflies flying in the air,
Buzzing in the air without anything to care,
Without any fears, or sorrows to bear,
Moving forward without any despair.
They make me wonder, why is it so hard to live my life,
With a peace of mind, driving my spirits high,
Pushing aside all my cares, worries and strife,
That makes my spirit, soul and heart slowly die...
They also make me wonder, why can't I take,
Their soaring spirits as my example,
To live a life without any heartache,
To live a life that is meaningful and simple;
To disallow the haunting past to abuse me,
To bring my spirit to the greatest height,
To breakaway from the chains of agony,
To feel the breeze and sun again and bring in the light...
I just want to break free from all my negativity,
To leave behind every despair of all types,
And live again with optimism within me,
To bring in once more the positive vibes...
So, Lord I would like to pray...
Teach me how to live a life of a different kind,
Teach me that from You peace I will find...
Teach me Lord, even if the world falls down,
With You, nothing in this world will make me drown...
O Lord lend me your ears,
Hear my cry, see my tears...
Take away my heartaches, sorrows and pain...
Teach me how to live again...
Once more...
Amen...

This was such an awesome write... I saw the birds, the fishes, the ores and the dragonfiles very clearly....(so vivid were your images)...
Then I too, started to wonder!!
Good write.......Hope your prayers are answered...

| I agree with Jenni, the images here are very vivid that it is effortless to visualize them, and the depth of the poem is nothing short of brilliant. I'm very sorry to hear that things don't seem to be going well for you, I only hope that with writing this poem you've been able to let out your negative emotions. |

| Aw... Ronald, its so good to have you back here. I've been waiting a while to read something new from you. This is a beautiful piece, the images you described were lovely. I have begun to apreciate nature more now that you have described its splendour. I really hope that you get through this difficult time. God bless always. | I understand how you feel. The only advice I can give you is to not let the winds of your emotions drive you to a place you do not want to be.You have painted a bueatiful picture of solace here; I write about sitting on the rocks at the place I go to write but it is not often that I actually go there. I think I will take some time to do that. Thanks for reminding me. |

Once again Ronald.........this is a very inspiring poem, and I'm so thankful for you that you lean heavily on Him....you can never have peace of mind unto yourself, unless you first have peace with Him Above!!!
Your poems are so easy to read, you must have your reader's in mind when you compose. They are nicely formulated, organized, and leave so much room for pondering! I ne ver got a the wonderful chance to welcome you to YPDC. WELCOME ABOARD....Ronald........My what a nice asset you are to us all!
