He stands there, staring at me.
He thinks I"m beautiful and smart...
I might actually believe him.
Maybe...
He holds my hand while we sit alone.
He doesn't do it in front of my parents,
but I still think he cares.
Maybe...
My friends all go "AHHH" while I blush.
He doesn't care, I don't even think he hears them.
I tell them to shut up while they chase me and I ask him for some help.
Maybe...
Maybe I won't get hurt again.
Maybe he's real.
Maybe I am what he says.
And... Maybe he does care.

| Good for mushy lol I have been trying to get away from writing about what happens to me as I think most of what ppl write is in direct connection to the happiness, pain, anguish or whatever emotion they are experiencing at the time so I had to read this from what you said in your comment and its great and sweet and I can picture it all in my head good write and thank you. |

Mushy? Perhaps, but whoever said anything was wrong with that? This is very touching. I hope you find lasting love. Remember, true love is not the romance, but the determination. It is being wholly selfless for the one you love. Don't settle for less.
