Bloodstains on my pillow

Contributed by gherkin on Saturday, 17th July 2004 @ 10:18:56 PM in AEST
Topic: Grief

If real love is all forgiving?
Why don't you tell him true?
'It's only experimenting'
Did it mean no more to you?
If you truly wanted him not me,
I'm afraid you need to think again.
It might have happened once, not thrice-
And not to the lengths you went.
You seemed to have forgotten,
The time we spoke online.
I won't go into details of then,
But I'll be happy to define.

[Rip out a blade,
From my arm where it's slept;
No blood to be shed,
Not a teardrop wept.]
{Too bitter inside}

So much poetry written
For Mr. Blue eyed
His sweet little kitten
And the buckets she's cried
Well you've seem to forgotten
That I've got one too
He's tall, strong and handsome
And he's never lied
He's my sweet 'n' loyal prince,
Though naive as can be
Now learnt his lesson hard, since
I told him of you and me

[Rip out the blade,
From my heart where it's slept;
No more blood to be shed,
No more tears to be wept.]
{Too bitter inside
From the crap I've been fed
}

Stop the fibs 'worthless hore'
Words so cruely arranged
To twist my insides till they're bloody and raw
Then tease at my thoughts till I'm crazy, DERRANGED!
I can't stand your verses
They torture me, render me
Down till I'm worthless
Got no reasons to be
As you have yours now girl
Just please do not let go
I'm not worthy of mine,
{Bloodstains on my pillow}

Freaky but done with style as the other comment said, and it's also got a very good rhythm flowing. Well done.
