Valentine For None

Broken hearts, saddened tears;
Ripped apart, realizing fears.
Pulling in, leave it behind;
Forgetting sin, becoming blind.
Shunning the world, the people there are;
Your hope curdled, your heart scarred.
No Valentine for you, never one received;
You let yourself be a fool, let yourself be deceived.
No Valentine, no flower or card;
It must be a sign, though it may be hard.
Just let yourself sink, into that black void;
Don't stop again to think, so this pain you can avoid.
