|
I have no control of my life
Except for the pain I feel
Cuts all over my body
I never want them to heal
People may think I’m crazy
But I think I’m fine
I’m in control of my pain
And it shows with each red line
I watch as the blood drips
It feels so right
I become so alive
I just love the sight
I don’t care what people say
They’ll never understand me
They just don’t get it
Why won’t they see?
I may be depressed
But I’m not insane
I’m living my life
It just always seems to rain
You just live your life
And I’ll live mine
You don’t have to worry
Because I’ll be fine.

very very true crimsontears i feel the same way. people need to live their OWN lives and let us live OURS. if you choose to do something, do it because you love it. do not do it because another wants you to. you have conveyed every emotion of my life in this poem and how i just wish people would allow me to live my life. this was a very miraculous piece.
