how are you?

My stomach churns for understanding, I think if someone truly understood I would feel so much better. This weight would be lifted off my shoulders and I would be happy again. But they don't. I know this isn't poetry, but the emotion that goes into it hurts just the same. I yearn for acceptance and the ability to think clearly once again. Sadly enough, we all pick up old habits and once the sanity wears thin, I'll allow the drugs to come right in. Again, I know this shouldn't be, but I can not look too far down this invisible road; I must look at now, and if I don't like it, then I must change it anyway possible. This is how I live my life. My name is Brandon. How are you?

Hmm..... Sounds as if your seeking recovery, yet fear of letting go of the pleasure it gives you, drains your thoughts, but you cry out for sanity to come and sweep you away. I understand these pleas and cries for understanding. My name is Joni, clean, sober and fine thank you. 16 yrs clean and sober. 0:-) Glad you could express what it is you are enduring, it's all part of the healing. Good luck.
Angel always...godspeed...joni |
