I wait

for all things left unsaid
that we never got to say
I know we always meant to
but things got in the way

I wait

for all the time we lost
over silly little things
like all the fights we had
and wondering who would win

I wait

for a chance say I’m sorry
for causing so much pain
and ever since you left
I know I wait in vain

very nicely done, i enjoyed this poem very much.
