You leave me weading aimless through myriads of pictursque delusions.
You bless me with chimeras so grand I lose myself so bottomless.
You leave me half-appalled at how far I've strayed from my ideals.
You have stained your presence in me so deep I can't cleanse it away.
You -
You have never seen me trailing songs of ardour on your fingertips.
You have never felt my whispers streaming lost against my weakness.
You may never read the words I birthed from nights of dreaming grandeur.
You will never imprint my unworthy existence in your consciousness, I know.
You will never know how palpable your drug is, melding in my veins...
You.

| Ah yess... love that palpable disease that shrinks the very souls and yet it nourishes it in ways untold and with such fullfilling platitudes. What a two-edged sword it is one that can cut as well as enriching ourselves. I leave to you to savour the palpability of the moment that engaging ecstacy of the feeling... may it to you bring the pre-renditions of happiness though sometimes it can bring untold agonies. Whatever it is... what ever it brings... I guess it is the best of thins for you have never lived until you have loved even only for once... my poetic awakenings might not have been as incensed have I not been in love once...though it can cut like blades. Regardless... enough of my ramblings.. what a skillful rendition here of that universal feeling. A bit haunting in its liturgy. A true telling perhaps of a souls entranced and engaged in some perhaps unfullfilled fantasy. |
