Regarding Isolation

I bled in isolation tanks you called love
You sent me best regards and chocolates
Waiting for me to die of desperation
Or maybe find the sharp knives
Instead I found relics in the drawer
My mother’s broken wrist watch
For which there was no cure
The daylight turned flat before sunset

Too much of a good thing? No, that's not what I mean. I'm not making sense, but I know these feelings so well. You say so much in so few words.

Hmm... very simple yet misunderstanding to the reader.... which makes your artwork subtle... :P |

The picture added credence to the words you were conveying here! Painful emotional write, in few expressive words. Well done!

An intriguing write... kind of wonderfully melancholy and yet somehow strong at the same time. It would seem that the daylight has turned flat - but you certainly have not. *hug*
Hoping the sun is shining again soon for you,
