Heartache is a headache
Thinking in circles
His name pounding through you
While you try to forget
When my head lays on this pillow
You twirl through out my dreams
Its so hard it seems
How easy it should be to forget
The memories and tears we shared
Why can't I pick up , leave, move on
Reminding myself that your gone
You have someone new and improved
While I'm home wishing the phone would ring
But it never does
It never did
Your having a goodtime
While I wish I had someone to hold
These lips of mine
Are so cold
They used to be warm
Looking
Searching for someone new
And if you ever return
Honestly I would
Let you back in these arms
Hold you for good

So honest, so simple, so true.
Funny how life works that way. One knows in ones mind that they should move on, but the heart, why the heart is a seperate entity.
I particularly like "heartache is headache" line. |

Welcome to YPDC, Katie Marie! Thanks so much for sharing this. You'll find there's a lot of heartache here at YPDC... and... fortunately, a lot of support to go with it!
I hope you're feeling better soon... and in the meantime, keep writing! Heartache, though painful, is terribly inspirational as you've so clearly demonstrated here!
Another poet who suffers from the same disease,
