I'm trapped within this silence,
And I find I cannot breathe.
And when I turn to go,
I have found I cannot leave.
I'm sick of your denial,
But I'm sinking farther still.
No one's come to rescue me,
They're eager for the kill.
I'm lost inside the present,
But I'm dying in the past.
My cure is only temporary.
The painlessness won't last.
If I could live, you know I would.
But I can't escape this time.
Longing for this desperate curse,
My death will render me "fine".
There's nothing you can do now,
This time I'm too far gone.
My final breath is drawing near.
The end comes with the dawn.
