PURE CHINA CLOUDS

"PURE CHINA CLOUDS"

Walking my dogs in the evening, as the sun prepares for bed.
Not watching the path, I watch the clouds instead.
I saw Pure China Clouds and pink thunderheads.
Platters, expensive, Theodore Havilland thread.

Havilland China factories were all destroyed,
During the war in France, bombed, expensive void.
Quite valuable to this day, antiques over 90 years old!
Held to light, you could see their trimmings of pure gold!

Wyoming sunsets are so unique, like the Havilland China.
Expensive, with gold trimmings, tiny flowers of pink aqua.
Sun's riturals before bed, huge platters of China Clouds...
Isochronized layers of sun's light flowing.......drape-like shrouds.

My mind wonders as I see the sun lie down her head.
Sunset memories of places so far away I can't recall.
Havilland China Clouds surrounding the sun's bed have all fled.
As she cuddles in her pure gold expensive shawl.

Far clouds of feathery gold,
Shaded with deepest purple,
gleam like islands on a dark blue sea.

As always you have this talent I deem... to be able to pluck what wisdom or knowledge or even a simple beauty of the world that you have in such sumptuous abundance... and array them upon your poems in such skillful renditions. Once again you have done so... I am sure most are awed by this picture you have painted with the paintbrush of you words. What beauty it is ...those china clouds...nice write!

p.s. Hmm.. de Havilland also produces fighter and bomber aircrafts... most prominently the de Havilland Mosquito..he he he or is that another company?... but in Britain if I am not mistaken circa ww2 oh well....just idle curiousity..

Gorgeous pictures and beautiful words. I LOVE the clouds and your sunsets sure do look special. I saw clouds the other day that looked like the angels had left the prints in a game of tag.
