Fairy Song

Fairy Song

The tiny fairy girl sitting by the billabong
Day-dreaming, she was happily singing a song.
Her wings were all a-flutter, as she sang,
The sweet words through out the bush rang
Telling of her feelings so strong and true,
For her heart of hearts the elf Blue.
And the wedding day planned, mid-June
Such a gay and delightful little tune
Told of how they had loved at first sight,
Made for each other, they were just right!
Down her sweet face ran tears of joy
As she sang of her love for her only boy
Her mind filled with dreams of the elf Blue.
I wish her happiness forever don’t you!
