A Light Of Destruction

Contributed by Naijerana on Thursday, 15th July 2004 @ 03:21:09 PM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

Our world is on the brink of destruction
For if we do what we still do now
Nature will show us her wrong side
And I have already felt it and seen it
For we humans think we control her
And everything she owns
But we do not
She controls us
For she can let the plants grow
And she can let the winds go wild
Put clouds in front of the sun
And bring destruction to all
But we do not seem to notice it
For we only care about our self
And not about She who gives us lives
And the polluting and destruction is hurting
Me
For I am fond of nature
For I like her beauty, her voice, her smell
And her humans
That and all will soon be over
For as we still do what we do
Her rage will come out
But I cannot feel it, I can only see it
For I was hit by her and I felt her anger
And her anger I shall see
Until it is time for me to go to Gaia
And until then
I will see more hit by her anger
Just like was hit by
A light of destruction

Great job, you express a very important point that nature is in control. I too agree that humans are going to suffer for there misconceptions of how to treat nature. nice write.
