Stop Fighting it

Contributed by brokensoul on Thursday, 15th July 2004 @ 01:19:25 PM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

I want to tell you how i feel
but is so hard to face the possibility of rejection
you tell people you dont want to get mixed up with love right now
so why wont you stop looking at me that way
i know i am known as a minx
only someone who will pluck at your heart strings
you know about the other guys in my life i am juggling
but when i think about it i would drop them all just for a single night wrapped in your arms
i would drop the old friend from three years ago that i have just began to talk to
i would drop my boyfriend
even though he would be devastated because we have fought the world to stay together
but i wouldnt have fought if i knew you were coming back too
dropping the one i love
my boyfriend, my love
what does that mean?
another question of mine i can only fail to answere
our hearts are fighting against our minds
i wont admit it out loud
but i pray desperately our hearts will win
what do you do when you cant breath when you think about a person?
because ust the thought of you alone steals the air straight from my lungs
but the image of you gives me no use for oxygen
you are my air
please let me rest in your arms
dont fight it
please dont push me away
