Done is the story of my life,
As I lay to rest on this knife,
Thoughts flash quickly through my head,
Laying here on my eternal death bed.
Goodbye world, goodbye all,
I was too weak to rise from my fall,
So I bid you bye with a wave of my hand,
Watch me drift off into the next land.
I wish I could have gone on,
But my heart lost it’s sweet song,
I just couldn’t go on anymore,
No more pain could I possibly bore.
As I leave my old cocoon,
I know that death will be upon me soon,
My eyes begin to flicker & close,
Hurt has blackened my once red rose.
I will never forget my family & friends,
Nor forget all the support you had to lend,
Mark you are the one I’ll miss most,
Please hold the memory of my ghost.

Thats good you didnt kill yourself.. it would be sad to lose a great poet as yourself :)

Im so glad you had the power of your words to get through this feeling. I could never wish for a friend and a great poet to feel this way, which i feel so often. Great poetry as usual! Your talent is amazing.
