mixed up feelings

Topic: EmotionalPoetry

I am asked why,
I roll my eyes and let out a silent sigh,
I laugh at a friends miss fortune,
My ex in the same room,
All I say is 'hi',
I ignore as though she isn’t there yet I notice,
And try not to stare,
And avert my eyes as if I do not care,
Yet my heart is pounding,
My body shaking,
I shake it off with this laugh,
I go for a walk for him to show me the old room,
The old room where I resided,
I came back to the start come to look at my sister’s art,
And old faces I see,
A happy face they see,
Yet I’m trembling inside,
All we say is 'hi' not even a goodbye,
But I am not fussed,
We can not see each other,
My heart goes more than just flutter,
I shake at earlier events,
I only seem to sing,
When I see we see that certain thing,
I just want to be happy on the inside....again.

Only a personal note,
I read that poem u wrote,
I brought a smile to my face,
I wish for the same thing too,
Love so I don’t feel so blue,
I long for the same kiss,
But, no doubt, it will be given a miss,
'cause as things go we can not be,
So you see I can not be there for you,
As these things change so I implore you,
Please leave my mind.

it feels like u wrote this poem for the both of us. because i was shaking and stuff except mine showed. i just wish you could stay out of my thoughts but for some reason we keep ending up in the same places. may be there is a reason may be not. but i share your thoughts on stay out of mine. but what the hell there is obvious mutral feelings. yet i just cannot act on them. as i am more messed up than when you first met me all those years ago. you want that again? be honest do you? having to sit with me them days when im trying to kill myself? you want that?

This is a very good poem. I can sense that deep down you still long for this girl and its apparent in your writing. I really liked this!
