LostLove

I sit here thinking of what to write
Nothing comes to me on this night.
The only thing racing thru my mind
Are the thought's of the love you left behind.
I gave all I've ever had to you
Hoping you would give it back too.
Apparently that was to much to ask
Obviously you were hiding behind a mask.
Only letting me see what you wanted
Not knowing your memory was haunted.
That what was left inside was only a ghost
That your body was only playing host.
You couldn't love me true
Because someone else had made you blue.
Someone had hurt you so and made you cry
That even when you wanted to believe all you heard was a lie.
So just like your true love did to you
You walked out on me for someone new.
But it is you I feel sorry for,it's you I cry for
For she opened up your chest and ripped and tore.
Now all that you are is a ghost and it's your heart you miss the most.
