If you and I went to the moon tonight,
I believe you would leave me for the stars.
And I only wanted to dance.
You would leave me for the stars,
with their twinkling lights beckoning you,
and fly into the darkened sky,
never looking back
And I only wanted to dance.
You would leave me to find better things
for the stars are so beautiful,
beckoning you,
would you look back?
For I only wanted to dance
