Three

Contributed by rhei76 on Wednesday, 14th July 2004 @ 12:24:54 PM in AEST
Topic: oops

On the way to the hospital
Today will be the day
While the rest of the family
will be here tomorrow night

Goin' on three funerals in three months
What a year
My uncle
My cousin
My aunt

With the dates of old
4 days ago was my cousin's deathday by ten years
Yesterday was my grandma's by sixteen
As for their tombstones
They both read the 13th of July

Anerizism
(I can't spell this morning)
By next week's end
Everyone tested
Over a hundred in

Somethings you just can't explain
Sometimes the pain just won't leave
And look at me
All I think about is me
me

first thought when i heard
was the last thing i said to her before she left
next thing was i didn't see this

Feeling hollow
I wonder what will happen to me

Sometimes it is hard to get outside that box called "me." God will get you there in His time though.

This poem displays the subject-matter as deterministic to the the nature of human life ...
Unique...great!!
