A Childs day
When a little child awakens
And their day has just begun
There often very busy
And always on the run
They wash their face and comb their hair
Don’t care what they wear
They sit down at the table
And often eat to fast
Sometimes in a hurry
And sure to spill their glass
Than out the door to find a friend
With cookie in their hand
Entering now into a world
A world of never land
They’ll climb the highest mountains
And swim across the sea
They’ll fly like birds up in the sky
And swing from tree to tree
They run and jump and fall a lot
And often skin their knees
Than call for mom to come at once
And kiss away their tears
And when their day is over
And they climb into their beds
They’ll enter now again once more
To a world of never land

Yes, this sounds like the life of my sons when they were young and now my grandsons. I wish all children's lives could be so free and happy. This is beautiful, Dorothy.
Hugs,
