Mommy why do your eyez alwayz hold tears,
Mommy tell me what are your hidden fears]
Did I make you sad Mommy did I do somethin wrong,
is it because I wanted to sing our favorite song
Mommy why doesnt your face hold a smile anymore,
oh Mommy I hope soon they will find a cure
Hold my hand Mommy tell me how you feel,
tell me Mommy whats the deal
Do you have a boo-boo Mommy that wont go away,
its not rainin Mommy can we go out and play
You look tired Mommy go to sleep,
put the broom down Mommy I know how to sweep
What the doctor say Mommy are you all better,
Mommy I cant read whats in that letter
Dont cry Mommy the doctor told me you'd be okay,
he just told me to be good and always pray
I love you 2 Mommy please give me a smile,
thanks Mommy I havent seen that 4 awhile
Good night Mommy I hope you sleep well,
we got to get up early Mommy we got alot of cookies to sell
Wake up Mommy open your eyez,
look Daddy no more cries
Tell Mommy to wake up Daddy its time to go,
Mommy had cancer honey, Daddy I didnt know
How long will she be sleepin Daddy will she ever be awake,
is she in heaven Daddy did she have Gods hand to take
Nite-Nite Mommy Im glad you feel better,
you feel cold Mommy heres your favorite sweater
I love you Mommy theres no more tears,
I now know Mommy your hidden fears

I cried, and cried and cried some more!
This was sooooooo sad & what a day to read this! My mom passed away on the 25th a year ago! I needed the cry! Great write!

Oh Wow!
I have read this about three times and each time it brings a new set of tears to my eyes. This is so sad, but there is a joy in the innocence of the child. Pulls on my heart!
