Ouch you’re hurting me,
Are you too blind to see,
What you are really doing,
My cracks need some gluing.
I am not made of iron or steel,
When you hurt me the pain is real,
I feel like I have been tore in two,
Please stop this thing you often do.
My feelings are very easily hurt,
Please pick me up from the dirt,
Treat me as you would a flower,
From love I get my power.
I have been damaged before,
Been trod on & pushed out the door,
So you need handle with care,
Help me get over my wear & tear.
My home is right by your side,
Don’t cause me to run & hide,
All I ask is for you not to shout,
You don’t mean it, I have no doubt.
Mark is my human host,
He is my lifetime leaning post,
We are both cut by your words,
& No insult goes unheard.
We will forgive you non stop,
Please can you let your guard drop,
Just remember we are lovers,
That’s why it’s so hard to recover.

Please continue to try to see through his eyes. That may help you understand that you can damage what you have by not finding solutions to your problems. Keep working, sweetie, don't give up.
