selfstruggles
|
In pursuing you I went and lost myself
Snared by shallow oaths and words
To the eye I am the emblem of sentience
But I'm fading on the inside,
slowly devoured by the filth that is me.
Heaven knows where I have been all this while
Too tumultous to be revealed
But in the wish of redemption
I ceased to be existing
And now solitude is the omega
in my alphabet.

I am startled to read this..
"slowly devoured by the filth that is me"..great feeling of dejection..the the parody of ceased to be existing..later taking shelter in solitude..
Very short, very strong and powerful expression of emotional feelings. thats amazing my dear friend :-) venkat

AV, this is so emotional. How many times in our lives have we gone full throttle into something and come out of it empty and disappointed? I know I have and it does leave life bleak.
Smiles,

Such strength your poems have.
This is so sad and emotional, deppressing words enhance the emotions.
