i can tell we are going to be friends

run and play
to and fro
laugh and sing
time for friends
back again,
to school we go

one the way
i found the one
that special friend
walk with me
we laugh and play
safely to school
were on our way

And we don't notice
any time pass
we don't notice
anything
we sit side by side
in every class

ring the bell
time to go
the day is done
tonight i will dream of you
and when I wake tomorrow I'll bet
that you and I
will walk together again
cause I can tell
that we're going to be friends
