Lifepoems
|
My eyes are open now,
but I see too much of myself in you.
Matched rage, living for revenge;
greedy for justice-
Two bitter hearts longing for loving,
just not like this.
Our spirits, almost one-
-thisclose-
before fate, or was it destiny
that interfered?
Separated now,
alienated-
Strangers in spite of ourselves,
Since I won't go back
where I've been.

A moment in time, an eternity of difference. Once the eyes have open there is no returning. Thanx for sharing. |
