Drink Up

Contributed by foxxylady852 on Tuesday, 13th July 2004 @ 06:27:20 PM in AEST
Topic: drugabuse

Down it goes
Into the black
8 seconds time
Right on
Track it down
Hits the end
Begins its job
Starts to
Mend the heals
She left your heart
With the drink
Its a new
Start the motor
Hit the gas
People go too slow
Pull out to
Pass the river
Beyond the creek
Comes a truck
You're too
Weak you feel
The lights, they blind you
Heading in your face
Slam the breaks with your
Shoe to the left
Arm off to the right
You're lying in your blood
In the middle of the
Night was cold
See your breath
Too weak to cry
You can almost see the
Death overwhelms
Taste it in blood
Half under your car
Half burried in
Mud covers your body
Cakes on your gashes
Dusk to dusk
Ashes to
Ashes they burn you
Found you dead in the cold
They all guessed
You had been
Told not to drink
Advised not to drive
If you listened well
You might still be alive

Powerful work, foxxy. I have been as stupid to go DD'ing after an all night sesh, and I don't think I'll be doing it again anytime soon.

Ah, but for the foolishness of the drunkard! My condolences . . .

Did it ever occur to you that he may have simply
used the 18 wheeler to punch his own ticket?
